Costume Design
Jess McGovern graduated in December 2016 from the Pennsylvania State University earning her BFA in Theatre Design and Technology. Her emphasis at school was in costume design and construction and has spent most of her time at school focused on costume design.
After school Jess moved to California to freelance San Francisco in the Bay Area. Credits include SF Shakespeare Festival, NCTC YouthAware, Dragon Theatre, and Playground Theatre Company. During Covid Jess moved to New Jersey and started working as a textile restoration specialist, restoring clothing and other textiles after fire/smoke/water damage.
